Katie Iwagami is a student of the Master of Arts Fashion Studies program in the School of Art and Design History and Theory at Parsons School of Design. She received a BA in Liberal Arts at Soka University of America in California. Her creative writing background complements a fascination in studying the glamour labor rituals of writers, artists and eccentric entities like Marchesa Luisa Casati and Isabella Blow. Her research focuses in documentary practices that showcase the evolving nature of (auto)biographical style narratives through the use of prose poetry collages, paintings and portraiture.
